Meek Mill Update: Judge Offers To Grant Hearing On Bail
There seemed to be light at the end of the tunnel for Meek Mill, following a report that the judge who sentenced him to two-to-four year prison, has offered to allow a bail hearing.
The Philly-native was sentenced by the judge Genece E. Brinkley 11 days ago, and has been placed in solitary confinement as prison officials are concerned about his safety in prison. She has now granted a live-line on hearing on his bail on Nov. 27 according to BET.
The verdict has since sparked outrage and being protested against which rappers like Rick Ross led the protestants while Roc Nation's mogul owner Jay-Z kept issuing letter against the verdict which he described as "high handed".
However, the rapper's legal team have also filed a bail motion for the "Win or Lose" rapper while their appeal is still on hold.
The 30-year-old rapper case dated back to when he was arrested for drug and gun possession at the 19-year-old and was released on probation.
