Man. United's Marouane Fellaini Sues Footswear Retailer For £2 Million Over Defective Football Boots

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini reportedly is suing a sportswear retailer New Balance, for "defective" football boots supplied to him in 2016 which later caused his feet "considerable" injury after use.
The Belgium international alleged the pair of Nike boots couldn't fit him, and needed his football club to help him with it which they "stemmed and stretched" to make it fit.
In spite of adjustments, the Belgian alleged he suffered considerable injury to his feet after 90 minutes of play, and could not sleep and was in "so much pain" as a result.
The lawyer representing the footballer Barrister Ruth des Beaten in the lawsuit document filed against  the company, claimed "the football boots supplied by New Balance were poor quality and caused considerable damage Fellaini's feet".
However, New Balance promised to copy the footballer's claims which he sent through to the company's executive via WhatsApp over to the boots manufacturer Nike.
