Hip Hop Icons Are Showing Support For Meek Mill Over Prison Sentence, "It's...Heavy Handed" Hov Says

It is not good to be alone in any situation they say.
That's true with Philly rapper Meek Mill, whose case with breaking probation following his re-arrest for drugs and weapon possession, landed him with two-to-four years prison sentence, and hip hop icons have been speaking out for him.
On Monday, the judge handling the "Lose or Win" rapper's case Grence Brinkley, on announcing his verdict, blamed his decisions on the artist non-compliance with restrictions to drugs or travelling with any weapon. That verdict fall-out with many rap icons.
Meanwhile, all hope is not lost for the 30-year-old artist as his defense team have options to file for an appeal against their verdict and icons such as Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, TI, Rick Ross and others have been throwing their weights behind their fellow industry-mate.
Speaking about the verdict, Hov, described it as "heavy handed" following a statement released by the father-of-three.
"The sentence handed down by the Judge Grence Brinkley...is heavy handed," part of the statement reads as he promised to stand by the Philly artist until justice is served against "wrong sentence" and upon his "return to his career"
Fellow Philly rapper TI, in an update on his Instagram, stated that he remained behind Meek even at this time as the captioned of a picture of the pair reads.
"Was wit u then &WE STILL WIT U NOW!!! This too shall pass. You got this!!!," he wrote.
Also joining in to support Meek is Snoop Dogg with a picture update of the rapper on his Instagram account, he stated his support: "Head up young g. We wit u...Freee@meekmill."
