Arsenal's Alex Iwobi Scores Twice As Nigeria Beats Argentina 4-2 In A Friendly Match
The Argentine team were left stunned, after Nigeria's Super Eagles made a comeback from two goal deficit, to beat the South Americans 2-4 in a the friendly match on Tuesday.
Argentina played the match without their Barcelona FC forward Lionel Messi, but had his team-mate and Manchester City's forward Sergio Aguero and Di Maria in the line-up.
The South Americans opened the score-line through Banega in the 27 minutes, and doubled the lead ten minutes later through City's Sergio Aguero.
However, the Nigerian side kept up the attack on their counterparts, and just on the brink of half time found a goal through Leicester City's Kelechi Iheanacho in the 44th minutes.
Not long after the break, the Super Eagle surprisingly scored twice within two minutes through Alex Iwobi and Brian Idown in 52nd and 54 minutes respectively.
While the Argentine made several attempts to equalised, the Arsenal's forward Iwobi worsen the situation his counterparts as he scored the decider in 73rd minutes.
