Weinstein Co. Directors Discontinue Harvey Weinstein's Position With His Company

Oscar winning film producer Harvey Weinstein has been asked to step down of his role with his company Weinstein Co. following accusations of  "sexual misconduct" as revealed by New York Times.
This developmeny is following a stemming and incriminating publications that unravelled decades long history of sexual harassment that prevailed with the company's director.
According to a statement released by the Weinstein Co., the boards of directors outlined reasons for their decisions regarding the discontinuation of the 65-year-old director's position with the company.
"In the light of new information about misconducts by Harvey Weinstein that has emerged in the past few days, the directors of The Weinstein Company - Robert Weinstein, Ricahrd Koenigsberg and Tarak Ben Ammar - have determined, and have informed Harvey Weinstein, that his employment with The Weinstein Company is terminated, effective immediately," the company's statement reads.
The New York Times publications took many with a shock as member of staff and associates were revealed to have been assaulted including a female artiste Ashley Ludd.
