President Obama Adresses Harvey Weinstein Assault On Women In Strong Terms, "I'm Disgusted" He Says

As celebrities and renowned names in Hollywood have been responding to Harvey Weinstein many scandals,  President Barack Obama has also weighed in.
The former President and his wife Michelle spoke in strong terms, giving their stand on his Oscar-winning movie producer assault scandal, describing it as "disgusted...painful stories" to talk about.
"Michelle and I have been disgusted by the recent reports about Harvey Weinstein. Any man who demeans and degrades women in such a fashion needs to be condemned and held accountable, regardless of wealth or status," Mr Obama rebuked assaulting women.
He also praised the assault victims for coming out, describing them as being of "courage" for telling about their experience.
"We should celebrate the courage of women who have come forward to tell these painful stories. And we all need to build a culture -- including by empowering our girls and teaching our boys decency and respect -- so we can make such behaviour less prevalent in the future," he said.
