Champions League: Liverpool Match Win Over NK Maribor "Nice Piece Of History" Says Jurgen Klopp

There has been nothing like it from an English side in Champions League records, the Liverpool thrashed the Slovenian side NK Maribor 0 -7 at home, .
Mind you, there has been records of big wins from an English side in the continental football game - Leeds United over Norwegians Lyn in 1969 and Manchester United against Irish then Shamrock Rovers in 1957 - but this match was a another ground breaker.
Maribor, from the start of the match, were rendered helpless by the readiness of Reds to take home maximum, as the opening goal came in from Firmino in 4th minutes.
Hence, spectators couldn't stop counting goals until late minutes from when Trent Alexander-Arnold just on 90th minutes - Coutinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also scored as Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah netted a double.
Speaking after the match, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp said he "didn't know" his team were setting a new English records in Champions League.
"I was told about the record after the game and I didn't know. The wonderful history of this club can feel like a backpack at times so it is nice to write our own good piece of the history," he said.
