FC Barcelona's Andrea Iniesta Renews Contract For Lifetime
After making 639 appearances and scoring 55 goals for FC Barcelona, Andres Iniesta deemed its time to make life-long at the club.
The 33-year-old midfielder and captain of the Spanish club reportedly has signed a "lifetime contract" with the club he started his footballing career with from its academy since 1996.
According to statement released by the club, the management confirmed the midfielder has renewed his contract with them "for the rest of his career".
"Andrea Iniesta signed a lifetime contract with FC Barcelona on Friday, in a deal that will keep him at the club for the rest of his career," the club's statement reads.
Iniesta has been team captain since 2015, made his debut in 2002 and had since won 30 titles with the club.
