Valtteri Bottas Extends Contract With Mercedes
Finn driver Valtteri Bottas reportedly has signed to continue with Mercedes, having extended his one-year-deal until 2018.
Bottas joined Mercedes from Williams and replaced retired Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg, and has since debut been impressive with two race wins so far.
"I am honoured and proud to continue to work with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport in 2018 and to remain part of the Mercedes," the Finn driver said.
The Hamilton team-mate won his first race at Russian GP and have made seven podium appearance since joining Mercedes this season.
"I'm happy to have celebrated my first race wins in a Silver Arrow. However, there's always room for improvement and I still have not shown my full potential," he said.
