US Open 2017: Rafael Nadal Beats Kevin Anderson to Win 16th Grand Slam Title

World No. 1 Rafael Nadal took down his counterpart Kevin Anderson, to claim his third US Open final title in three straight sets 6-3 6-3 6-4 at Flushing Meadows on Sunday.
The Spaniard is having a great season having won two major single this year -he won the French Open in June - he has in his record sixteen Gram Slam titles so far in his career.
Speaking after the match, he sent out his condolences to the families of the victims of Hurricane Harvey and Irma and the earthquake incident in Mexico.
“It is very sad moments for the world but it is time for be strong,” he says. “All the best for the victims and all the people who are suffering.”
He later took time to speak about his ordeal with injuries and how winning his second Slam this season has been such an "unbelievable" one for him.
"It's just unbelievable what happened this year, after a couple of years with some troubles, injuries, sometimes playing not good - since the beginning of the season it has been very, very emotional," he said.
