Manchester United's Paul Pogba Might Be Out For "Few Weeks" Over Suspected Hamstring Injury Might
Manchester United's Paul Pogba reportedly will be out of action for "few weeks", after suffering a suspected hamstring injury during 3-0 defeat over FC Basel in their opening match at the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The France international who captained his team lasted 18 minutes before he limped off the pitch after which the team rained goals on the Swiss team though Marouane Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford.
United manager Jose Mourinho remained confident in his team to deliver in spite of the Pogba injuries with players he has got at hand ahead of their encounters.
"I don't know...I just know from experience it's a muscular injury," he said when asked at an interview with MUTV
"In my experience, muscular injury stops you from playing for a few weeks. Squads are for this...We don't cry with injuries. So if no Paul for Sunday, we have (Ander) Herrera, we have (Michael) Carrick, we have Fellaini and we have (Nemanja) Matic."
Speaking about the Champions League opener, he mentioned the bigger teams as the tough encounters he bothers most about a well as the infamous ones as well.
"I think the Champions League for these teams," when asked about weaker teams "for the Real Madrids, and the Barcelonas, and Bayerns, I think the Champions League starts in February."
Pogba hs made an impressive start this season with United and has scored two with the club at the Premier League this season.
