LeBron James, Stevie Wonder and Others Fall Out With President Donald Trump Over Speech Against Top Athletes
The President of the United States Mr Donald J. Trump's dive into sport affairs didn't go well with him and he has been getting unfriendly attention over that.
Being a Real Estate tycoon and a golf course owner, President Trump choice of vulgar words towards NFL's Colin Kaepernick and criticism of Stephen Curry attracted the attentions of Lebron James, Stevie Wonder and even Bruce Maxwell.
During a speech at primary Senator Luther Strange's primary campaign bid, the 45th President of the United States went nuclear at Kaepernick for having to kneel during his country's national anthem in protest of racism.
"love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, 'get that son of a bitch off the field right now. He's fired. He's fired," Mr President said.
He got on the nerves of NBA LeBron James for rescindling Golden State Warriors star Steve Curry for a message he posted to his Twitter account.
"U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain't going! So...ain't no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up," LeBron tweeted.
The President's speech soon attract attention and has been criticized for his speech at the rally, as that has been followed up with "knee-protesting" from other celebrities.
On Saturday, Oakland Athletics baseball player, Bruce Maxwell, took a diss at President Trump and became the first major leaguer to take a knee during the national anthem.
