Jay-Z's Tidal Giving Out Aid Materials To People of Puerto Rico Devastated By Hurricane Maria
Jay-Z and his Tidal team are taking the bull by the horn, as they are right on ground in Puerto Rico, giving out aids in the United States territory which has been left devastated by Hurricane Maria.
The digital music streaming company are working alongside with the NYC's Empire State Relief and Recovery Effort, to bring relief much needed supplies to the people in the territory which has thousands of it residents without electricity and homeless.
"Tidal, in partnership with [New York] Governor Andrew Cuomo's Empire State Relief and Recovery Effort," the statement by Jay-Z's Tidal read and also "has announced the start of the TIDAL X: Puerto Rico initiative with the charter of a cargo plane that will bring much needed supplies to aid in the recovery and relief in Puerto Rico."
On Thursday, the duo partnership between the music streaming and NYC Recovery Effort was announced and laid out how the intend to help the devastated U.S territory.
"Leaving on Friday, October 7th, this first plane will carry 200,000 pounds of batteries, flashlights, portable lanterns, diapers, baby wipes, cases of water and feminine hygiene products."
They are now calling out for more involvement in Puerto Rico to recover from devastation caused by Hurricane Maria.
