Italian Grand Prix: Lewis Hamilton Wins, Attains Season's First Championship Lead Over Sebastian Vettel
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton led his counterparts to finish quickest at the final race of the Italia Grand Prix.
The Brit driver dominated the race whilst his teammate Valtteri Bottas made a stunning performance coming off from poor starting to finish second ahead Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo.
Having won his sixth race this season, Hamilton now have 228 point making it his first championship lead this season, putting him three points ahead of Ferrari's Vettel who has 225 points.
Speaking about the team performance, Hamilton praised Bottas saying: " The team did an amazing job. Valtteri did a great job. Mercedes power is better than Ferrari power so that's one thing."
The team will now head to Singapore where the next race will be held on Sept. 15 - 17th .
