Eric Benét Clarifies Rumored Issues With Diss In Jay-Z's Album 4:44
Jay-Z's latest album 4:44 has many diss victims, it can out hot sweeping many off their feet such that even Eric Benét got hit - he was clearly mentioned in track "Kill Jay Z".
Meanwhile, the Roc Nation's mogul fellow industry-mate and singer Eric, didn't flip out over the clip, and addressed rumours he was upset with rapper and even visited his house to tell him off.
In an interview with TMZ, the singer revealed that he was in Cuba and not in his country when the clip hit the air waves as many supposed.
“So I’m like — I’m in Cuba, chilling, when this whole thing goes down and my manager — we’re having dinner," he clarified "apparently, while I was in Cuba I was at Jay-Z’s house, like, banging on his door, like, saying, ‘Don’t talk about [her].”
The fellow singer made it clear he's still fan of the rapper in spite the line in the track on which he was dissed.
