Despite having served their terms at the White House, the Obamas still get wedding invitations from their fans, and this recent one just got a chilling response from the family.
According to BET, a lady named Liz Whitlow sent her wedding invite to the family, having low expectation of soon response since the couple's schedule might not allow that soon, but to her amazement her request was honoured sooner than expected.
She captioned the update as: "MY MOM DEADASS SENT THE OBAMAS A WEDDING INVITATION BACK IN MARCH AND JUST RECEIVED THIS IN THE MAIL. IM HOLLERING"
She didn't wait for too long before she received a response and in about a month she received a letter signed by both Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.
"Congratulations on your wedding. We hope that your marriage is blessed with love, laughter, and happiness and that your bond grows stronger with each passing year. This occasion marks the beginning of a lifelong partnership, and as you embark on this journey, know you have our very best for the many joys and adventures that lie ahead," the letter reads.
