Spanish Football Federation Lands Cristiano Ronaldo Five-Match Ban, £2,700 Fine For Pushing Referee

Cristiano Ronaldo has been sentenced to five match ban and fined £2,700 by Football Federation following his act of protest to red card by pushing the referee in the back during Real Madrid 3 - 1 match win over Barcelona.
On Sunday, the Portugal international came in as substitute and helped Real to win the game against Barcelona having scored with a strike from the edge of the box in 80th minutes.
Mind you, the 32-year-old prior to his red carding for diving in the box, was issued a yellow for pulling off his jersey in celebration of goal scored.
Ronaldo was given yellow card for pulling off his shirt after scoring the second goal for Real Madrid 
On Monday, according to sources the Spanish Football Federation made their decision known on the Portuguese act for a gesture that broke the Code of the Federation under article 96 that punishes players for "violent manners" in the forms "catches, pushes or shakes" of a referee.
Meanwhile, referee Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea speaking after the match, did testify to the player's act of him shoving in the back at an interview after the match saying: "Once the red card was shown, the player pushed me slightly in a sign of disagreement."
The Real forward will miss second leg encounter with Barcelona on Wednesday and subsequent four matches.
