Insurance Company Opt Out Of Covering Payment Of $20 Million To Usher's Herpes Victim

If you would like to know what possibly you might want your premium with an insurance company to cover, taking a cue from Usher's herpes case could be helpful.
Regarding the R&B singer's STD case in Georgia court, his insurer has made it clear to the artist it will not be funding claims by his victim Jane Doe who has filed in a case demanding to be paid $20 million for damages.
According to TMZ, it was gathered that the insurer New York Marine and General Insurance Company, stated that there is no clause in his contract that convers him for "bodily injury ... arising out of the transmission of any communicable diseases by [Usher]."
Expectation was that the insurer would cover the payment should he lose the case which is already in court but this time, Usher might have to dole out payment for damages on his account.
However, the insurer has opted to pay for cost of court proceedings stating the case filed by an attorney Lisa Bloom handling alleged STD infection by John Doe, another Jane Doe and Quntasia Sheraton, and if case is won the complaints it would not be liable to pay $20 million.
