Cristiano Ronaldo Wins The Uefa's Player of The Year Award
Real Madrid's Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo, won the Uefa's player of the year award over his Argentine counterpart Lionel Messi and Juventus' goalie Gianluigi Buffon.
On Thursday, the Real Madrid forward was named the winner alongside with Barca's Netherlands midfielder Lieke Martens, 24, who was named Uefa women's player of the year.
Cristiano has now won the prize for a third time, having gained most vote for the prestigious award for been instrumental to his club's back-to-back win of the Champions league during which he scored more goals than any other.
