Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Joins Liverpool For £35 Million
England's midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has completed a five-year contract move to Liverpool from Arsenal worth £35 million.
The former Arsenal's player, who has a year to run in his contract, was presented with a contract renewal of $180,000-a-week, but declined the offer to join the Anfield hosts on a 120,000-a-week contract.
Prior to picking up a deal with Liverpool, the England international also declined a deal from Chelsea which has already agreed on his transfer fee.
Liverpool's manager Jurgen Klopp, speaking about his new signing, described the former Arsenal as "positive player...willing to take risk."
Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Arsenal in 2011 from Southampton and made 198 appearances having 20 goal in his record with the club.
