Jay-Z's "4:44" Goes Platinum After Making Over a Million Sales In Five Days
In less than a week after the rap mogul and Roc Nation's owner Jay-Z, released his 13th album "4:44" it quickly went platinum.
The digital only album which upon released was exclusively available on Tidal - streaming service owned by the artist - surpassed a million sales which qualifies any album for platinum status.
More so, it is seldom for any album released on digital to hand made such an astronomic sales in just five day after it released.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) already certified the platinum status of the digital album after it passed the benchmark sales.
It is believe the album would be available on other streaming services - Apple Music and iTunes - later on this week.
