DC Extended Universe Nets $3 Billion Globally As "Wonder Woman" Reaches Benchmark Grossing of Over $700 Million
DC Extended Universe gross earning has attained a benchmark achievement at the global box office with a whooping total of $3 billion.
This has been with the recent performance of Patty Jenkins' movie "Wonder Woman" which globally grossed more than $700 million, making DC Extended benchmark earning at the box office attainable.
That attainment may not only be tied only to "Wonder Woman" passing a benchmark grossing, as Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad have been DC Extended high-grossing movie at the box office before Jenkins's movie premiered.
Having said that, Jenkins's movie in joining the high-grossing movies at DC only trail behind Suicide Squad which grossed $745 million and Batman v Superman with $873 million and passed Man of Steel grossing of $668 million.
