Filming Of British TV Drama "John Luther" Fifth Edition To Commence Soon
Idris Elba and his fellow characters in the TV drama "John Luther" are set to hit the screen again for the fifth edition.
The TV series have been off the air since the last episode of the fourth edition in 2015 and now, expectations are that shootings start again by early next year, according to The BBC.
Speaking about the long halt, Co-creator and writer Neil Cross opened up saying: "It's a question Idris and I get asked a lot. What happened to John Luther after we last saw him striding unbowed through the streets of his city? The thing is, we've been asking ourselves the same question."
Elba assured the drama fans the series would be out again on the screen as he spoke to the BBC saying: "Neil, the BBC and I have been talking about a further season and I am thrilled that we have been able to bring it all together"
Meanwhile, after the fourth edition, there were expectations that the drama will be compiled into a film and that did not happen. However, there Elba soon will hit the screen in his tweed coat for the fifth edition.
