Pia Mia and Nigerian Rapper Phyno In Copyright Controversy Over New Release Track "I'm a Fan"
American artist Pia Mia, may have got herself into copyright infringement controversy over her new single "I'm a Fan" which appeared to be a copy from an original which belong to a Nigerian rapper Phyno.
On Friday, Pia Mia released the new single featuring Jeremiah, and not long after it release, the internet went in a frenzy over the track as Phyno's fans cried fowl play from the American singer.
The track in question, is alleged to have not just been titled as the acclaimed original from Phyno's album "The Playmaker" released in 2016, but in every making of it seemed to be just as the original copy.
According sources, it is some claimed that the song original got over to Pia Mia through her new track producer Remo, who Phyno met with during the making of "The Playmaker" in 2016.
However, no statements have been released from the Nigerian rapper to clarify the alleged infringement from Pia Mia.
