"Guardian of the Galaxy Vol. 2" Tops Box Office Weekend Gross Earning

The Marvel Studios' "Guardian of the Galaxy Vol. 2" made a big hit in it Box Office opening weekend earning with an estimated of about $145.5 million, coming out as the sixth-biggest ever earning in May.
In spite of Guardian Vol. 2 whopping turnover in it opening weekend, it was projected to earn about $160 million. An amount that would have put it in bigger earning than Spider-Man 3. $151 million opening weekend earning for Marvel Studios.
However, it came on top in the weekend gross earning over "The fate of the Furious" and "The Boss Baby" - which was forth nights ago in fifth position and have moved up to third position - having been screens at 4,347 locations.
Following Guardian Vol. 2 is "The fate of the Furious" which netted a gross earning of £8.57 million and screened at 3,595 location.
Than was followed in third position by "The Boss Baby" with earning of $5.97 million and screening at 3,284 locations, which in 36% drop in it earning compared to previous performance.
"How to be a Latin Lover" made the  fourth position with $5.1 million screening at 1,203 locations, and following in fifth position is "Beauty and the Beast" making $5 million screening at 2,680 locations.
