Chelsea's  chances to win their fifth League title became more in sight after they comfortably defeat relegating Middlesbrough 3 - 0 at Stanford Bridge stadium.
Prior to that, it was in contest with Tottenham Hotspur but West Ham dealt a blow to Spurs' title hope at the Hawthorns by 1 - 0 over the weekend.
Having said that, with one match win away from lifting the silverware, they would in away match face West Bromwich Albion on Friday - winning will make them the season's champions.
However, the club's manager Antonio Conte praised his team after the match with position that winning the League title is well deserved.
I'm delighted for my players, they deserve this. We are showing that we deserve to win the league," Conte said.
