Ferran Torres To Part Ways With Barcelona, As Top Ligue 1 Club Links To Player

Ferran Torres is on the lookout for a new club and is interested in a move to Paris Saint-Germain, ending his three-season spell at Barcelona.

The striker led Spain to the 2026 FIFA World Cup trophy, scoring the goal that secured the victory against Argentina in the final. He is currently in the final year of his contract at Barcelona and wants to leave.

Barcelona want him to stay, despite interest from their Ligue 1 counterparts, who are understood to have contacted the striker about his transfer. Ferran, on his part, wants out of Barcelona and has spoken to his team about his desire to join PSG, according to Foot Mercato.

The two-time UEFA Champions League winners are rejuvenating their squad. Players like Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye are on their way out of the club. Goncalo Ramos has already left Paris des Princes.

Barcola is linked to Liverpool, and he has declined to extend his contract in his bid to move to Anfield. He has two years remaining on his contract. Liverpool needed to fill the role left by Mohamed Salah, and Barcola is on their radar after the attempt to sign Yans Diamande failed.
