Former President Barack Obama Shows Up For Call to Jury Duty
Just barely a week after the launching of Obama Foundation Leadership Summit, Mr Obama yet spared time to answer call to duty as a juror.
On Wednesday, the 44th president and his motorcade headed downtown and at 10 a.m, he turned up at the Richard J. Daley Center courthouse, Chicago sign up for duty.
On his entering, fans could not hold their emotion, and were spotted sticking out their phones to take a picture while he was shaking hands with members of staff on his arrival.
However, after two hours Mr Obama was asked to go as job was completed, just as his predecessors were called up and upon showing up were not allow to do the job.
The jury a cheque of $17.20 to the former president is wages which sources reported he donated to charity.
